It may have taken a couple of weeks but I am finally getting our blog up and running. We have had a great start! What a wonderful group of kids!! They are so fun and loving. We are looking forward to watching them grow throughout the year. Last week we celebrated two August birthdays. Cupcakes are always a fun (and messy) snack. Right now we get to spend our playtime outside. The kids love to dig in the dirt and play at the sand and water tables. I'm not sure which they get on themselves more, the sand or the water. We are beginning to see friendships develop and enjoy seeing the interactions. This week is bring a blue item to school. We will talk about these objects during circle time and send them home at the end of the week. Next week school pictures will be taken on Tuesday and Wednesday. Look for a note in you child's folder letting you know which day their picture will be taken. Also, T-shirt orders are due next Thursday. Beginning in October we will have a school spirit day the first Tuesday of every month. On this day if your child has a school shirt they will want to wear it. I plan to do better getting the blog up each week. My goal is to get it done on Thursdays but as all of us with young children know, things often do not go according to plan. Feel free to share this blog site with other family members and enjoy watching it with your children. They should be able to do the motions to our Alligator song. - Jill

How precious! I am so excited to have this avenue to stay in touch! Thanks for your work!
This is so adorable...thanks so much for letting us peak in on the fun.
This is great! I really appreciate all of your effort, both with the children and maintaining this blog. It's a great way for us grandparents to cope with withdrawal when we are not able to see them as often as we would like. Keep up the good work!
Thanks again,
John Corley (Julie Johnson's Papaw)
Love the blog. I've had the alligator song stuck in my head for 72 hours now. : ) Thanks for keeping the blog up. - Kayci Ross
