Outstanding

We had an outstanding week! We made orange prints, an octopus, and stacked Oreo's for the letter O. In Bible we have been studying David and Goliath, we had fun making a sling on Tuesday. We also made a star crown for our shape. Everyone has settled back into being at school and we have a new friend, Olivia. I know we will continue to have a great school year. Enjoy the pictures!

Kings and kites

This was a short week but a fun week. There are pictures of us wearing our King crowns and flying our kites. Thank you for all the interesting brown items for our color bag. We thank Logan for our donuts and Jimmy and John Paul for the cake. Next week we will have pizza for lunch on Thursday. If your child does not want pizza just send a regular lunch with them. If your child will be having pizza please send $1.50 with them. Also, wear brown on Thursday for our brown day celebration. Kayla, Caden and Julie are bringing snack next week. December calendars will be coming home next week with information about the Christmas party. Have a wonderful weekend.

Beautiful Fall

What a wonderful week. The children have been great (as always) and the weather has been perfect. You will see a lot of pictures of us outside playing.

This week we made Indian chiefs and princesses with our hands - stop by the bulletin board in the back of the room to see them. We talked about the letter J and made Jack-in-the-boxes and Jean Jackets. During Bible time we are still talking about Moses. Ask them to sing "Float Baby Moses" - many of them have enjoyed that song. A big thank you to Truitt and Nolan for our snack this week - we enjoyed eating the brown rectangles.

Next week everyone should bring a brown item for our color bag. Also, there is no school on Wednesday. Snack on Tuesday is Logan's birthday celebration and on Thursday we will celebrate Jimmy and John Paul's birthday. Have a fun and safe weekend.

Happy Halloween

I hope everyone has a wonderful time Trick or Treating. We had a wonderful party, thanks to all of the parents that helped out at the party or sent items for us to use. In the slide show you will see general play pictures and our orange day celebration pictures as well as our Halloween party pictures. Next week we continue with our fall activities, talk about the letter J and baby Moses and introduce rectangles and brown. Truitt and Nolan have snack and Jimmy and John Paul will celebrate their birthdays on Thursday. Tuesday is school spirit day so if your child has a school shirt it is a great day to wear it. Enjoy the beautiful fall weather!

Happy Days

We have been very busy Bees lately, as you will see in the video. Making Fall and Halloween crafts is a favorite of everyone. We have had Firemen visit, Hat day and birthday celebrations. Next week will be busy as Tuesday is our Orange celebration (wear orange!) and Thursday is our Halloween Parade and Party. On Thursday your child will want to wear a costume and bring a bucket for Trick-or-Treating. After you drop them off you will want to head to the gym to watch the parade and we will sing a few songs. During the party we will trick or treat down the hall from our room (we will need a few parent volunteers for this). Ms. Janice asked us to let you know - the cookie dough fundraiser items will be delivered on Thursday. Everyone must pick up their items as we have no place to store the cookie dough which needs to remain frozen. We are looking forward to next week and can't wait to see all the costumes. Ghosts, Spiders and Pumpkins

This has been a fun craft week. We have fall leaves and spiders hanging from our ceiling. There are Ghost feet in the hall and Jack-o-Lanterns on the bulletin board by the slide. Take time to look around and see all the things we have made! I want to thank Ethan, Logan and Chase for snack this week. Ethan celebrated his birthday and we had fun eating the cupcakes. Your orange item and t-shirt orders should be in their backpacks. If they were not please let me know. Don't forget that there is no school on Tuesday due to Fall Break. Caden and Grace have snack next week. Enjoy sometime with your family and see you Wednesday :)

The start of Fall

What wonderful weather we have been able to enjoy! The children loved the egg shakers we made. They came home today. We had fun making candy corn faces, eggs and a balloon page. The story of Noah is a favorite that everyone enjoys. A big thank you to Julie, John Paul and Truitt for snack this week. Next week we will celebrate Ethan's birthday and Logan and Chase have snack. We will be talking about the letter F, color orange and shape oval. Some suggestions for snack are Fruit snacks, goldfish, Townhouse crackers and cheese. Tuesday is our School Spirit day, if you have a school shirt it is our day to wear it. Also, bring your orange item for our color bag. Lastly, Fundraiser money is due Tuesday.
